Most Depeche Mode music videos from the mid/late 80's into the early 90's were shot on both color and B&W super 8 by Anton Corbijn. Beautiful! These videoes are responsible for my love of the super8 format.

David Fincher's "The Game" has scenes shot in Super8.
I'm not sure if "The Mexican" had shots in Super 8, too.
Anyone knows if David Fincher's music video for "Aperfectcircle"'s song "Judith" is Super 8?

It wouldn't suprise me...Fincher has used super-8 before for music video..other Super-8 music video's(not including mine)..BECK(loser)..Superchunk...Ben folds five...and more...That's what brought me back to S-8..and also having Negative stocks to use..and abuse

How about Darren Aronofsky's Pi. If I am not mistaken the entire feature was shot in Tri-X. This film was a Sundance hit and had some national release here in the US.
Mr. Aronofsky went to direct the powerful 'Requiem for a Dream' last year. 'Pi' might be the last important Super 8 Film in the last decade. Yes the huge grain is there, but the incredible complex story and writing more than makes up for it. And don't forget many of the scenes were shot indoors thus demanding a faster film stock.
It is available in DVD (Amazon, Yahoo, etc..)
I am surprised that nobody mentioned it before.

I thought PI was shot on 16mm. I just checked IMDB and it says 16 also... http://us.imdb.com/Technical?0138704

Just saw this movie and was somewhat surprised to see what appears to me like Super 8 sneaking around: Pearl Harbor
